The City of London is preparing to increase the Southeast Pumping Station operating pressure to its design pressure. Properties that could experience static water pressure above 80 psi (550 kPa) from this operating pressure increase have been identified, and onsite investigation for the Pressure Reducing Valves has been completed and documented in Appendix A. The scope and purpose of this RFT is to obtain bids for the Supply & Installation of new Pressure Reducing Valves and appurtenances within the Southeast Pumping Station service area, in accordance with the attached Special Provisions, dated August 22, 2019; Appendix A - Water Systems Inspection Reports; Appendix B - Installation Reports; Appendix C - Standard Terms and Conditions; and City of London Supplemental Standards General Conditions Of Contract (SGC) as may apply per the following link: SGC, Standard Contract Documents for Municipal Construction Projects per the following link: Standard Contract Documents For Municipal Construction, the Ontario Building Code (OBC), and the current Ontario Provincial Standards (OPS). |
