The Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System (LHPWSS) is issuing this Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, General Contractor construction companies who have the minimum level of experience and competency required to successfully undertake the construction of the water transmission system connection of the LHPWSS to the Oneida Nation of the Thames (ONOTT) settlement. The construction contract includes the overall transmission main including open-cut segments and trenchless installation segments, as well as chambers and controls. The proposed new infrastructure is located in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, Middlesex County. This is the first of a two-stage process. Only Successful Respondents, identified through this RFPQ process, will be invited to participate in the second Request for Tender (RFT) stage. The second stage will be a single RFT for the ONOTT Connection to LHPWSS project. |
